Single CCFD Logo Animation shows the basic concept that I wanted to show to the client.

This is the Full Motion Graphics Package presented to the CCFD.

The Clark County Fire Department of Nevada was in need of training videos for their recruits in the Fire Department. I looked at the Long Beach Fire Department Training videos for a good resource material to start from. Going from there I understood what they wanted to achieve. From here they have not yet established a color scheme, logo file. I was starting from scratch with this project.

Establishing the Logo design by using the patch, the color scheme from their uniforms I made a sound structure of where to start from for this project. In all productions there needs be a color scheme and if applicable there is a logo design. I couldn't pull of the colors from the logo alone for a scheme, so I pulled of some of the neutral earth tone colors from the various uniforms of the firefighters (as seen below in the 2 pictures).

Taking a reference from the fire truck for lettering, I came up with the font "Rockwell" which was close to the lettering as possible. Then from there I took this design from the truck and did something similar to the logo design.

I arched the lettering like manner around the main logo which is the patch for the CCFD. I also established the color scheme for the lettering as well with some hard lighting drop shadow behind. Both examples are seen below with the Main Logo design with lettering and the color lettering establishment.

Knowing that the cross metal is everywhere on the Fire truck I looked everywhere for that texture that was HD and I used that as a nice background image. Placing lights on the metal with reds and yellows was used for the final animation.

A good amount or research was implemented so that I can provide the client with a well thought out design and a reason for the design that was created. Everything has its place in the grand scheme of the project so that all elements are joined together as one complete ensemble.
